April is a special month for the Travis Mills Foundation and U.S. Army SSG (Ret.) Travis Mills.On April 10, 2023, TODAY, we recognize his 11th Alive Day – the day he set his bag down on an IED during his third tour in Afghanistan, triggering an explosion in which he lost portions of his arms and legs. Days later on April 14, 2023, he’ll celebrate his 36th birthday.
