Plane Pull ® Schedule for October 16, 2021

The Travis Mills Foundation is excited to share that the 2021 Plane Pull ® is scheduled for October 16, 2021, at 10 AM at Northeast Air at the Portland International Jetport!
This exciting competitive event pits teams of 20 against one another to see who can pull a FedEx 737 the fastest in the ultimate tug of war contest!
After an incredibly successful 2019 event that raised over $100,000 for the Travis Mills Foundation and having to cancel 2020 ‘s event due to the pandemic, we are excited to bring this event back again with an even bigger goal: raising $150,000 for the Travis Mills Foundation!
Thanks to a joint partnership with Northeast Air and FedEx, teams from all over New England will compete for the Championship Title to see who can pull the plane the fastest. If you have never attended the event before, teams line up in front of the plane with a long rope that is attached to the plane. When the green light says go, teams pull as hard and as quickly as possible to move the plane 20 feet… in literal SECONDS. Once the plane passes the mark, the clock is stopped and teams anxiously await to see just how fast they moved the 70,000 pounds of that 737!
Companies, groups, civic organizations, and alike compete against each other for the top prizes: Quickest Pull, Top Fundraiser, and Most Patriotic. This year, we will have 3 divisions: the Generals, Women Only, and Military & First Responders.
We have 40 spots for teams, and each team must raise $2500 to participate. It is $20 per person to register your spot on a team, and this $20 is counted towards your $2500 fundraising goal. $20 includes a team t-shirt and charitable contribution to the Travis Mills Foundation.
