Kelly Roseberry PT, DPT- Program Director

Kelly McGaughey PT, DPT is the Program Director for the Travis Mills Foundation. She joined the Foundation after spending several years as a full time Physical Therapist and Center Coordinator of Clinical Education at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. She relocated to Maine in the summer of 2017.

She earned her B.S. from Virginia Tech University and her DPT from Shenandoah University. She discovered her passion for working with the military at a young age and was able to complete all full time internships at military facilities both in the United States and abroad. Her clinic work has focused on comprehensive wounded warrior and amputee care in both inpatient and outpatient settings within the military population.

She brings with her, both an expertise in the field and how to adapt situations, sports, and equipment to meet the needs of our Veterans, but also an extensive network within the Wounded Veteran community.

Kelly is adjunct faculty at Shenandoah University, University of New England, and University of Southern Maine for both Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy programs. She is also the director of the Winter Adventure Amputee Camp for children with limb differences in Virginia.

Kelly has been an adapted ski instructor with Wintergreen Adapted Sports, Director of Missing Parts in Action Army Ten Miler team, and a guide for disabled runners in multiple distance events. She has volunteered and participated with several non-profit organizations and adapted sports over the past several years and hopes to draw on that experience as she helps to grow the Travis Mills Foundation. Kelly is responsible for recruiting and managing all participants, developing and implementing all programming, establishing working relationships with partner organizations, and fostering relationships with Veterans.

Kelly comes from a long history of military service, including her Father, Uncles, and Grandparents. Her husband is also a wounded Veteran, with over 20 years of service and they live with their dogs in Readfield, ME.
